A Snapshot of Your Day
The Supply Chain Excellence Implementation team requires a Working Student to provide support due to an increase in team responsibilities. This is an entry-level, part-time position within the Transformers Procurement function, designed to offer practical experience in a corporate setting. To address this need, the role will focus on two core areas: Procurement Data Analysis and Process Support. This involves assisting with data collection and reporting, as well as supporting the team with administrative and process improvement tasks under close supervision. Given the focus on analytical and process support, the ideal candidate is a currently enrolled student with an interest in supply chain management, strong organizational skills, and a foundational understanding of data handling, particularly with tools like MS Excel. Experience with AI tools to enhance task efficiency or support data insights is considered a distinct advantage.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Collection and consolidation of procurement data from various systems, including SAP
- Creation and support of basic reports, presentations, and dashboards using Excel and Power BI
- Execution of simple market research and data gathering to support sourcing and category management activities
- Support of Project Managers in daily business and project activities, including process documentation and standard template creation
- Provision of administrative and ad‑hoc support for team meetings and ongoing supply chain excellence and process improvement initiatives
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Business Informatics, or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, with a strong focus on Excel
- Analytical and quantitative skills, including basic experience with Power BI, SAP applications, and market research
- Experience with AI Tools is an advantage
- Interest or foundational knowledge in process improvement, strategic sourcing, and supplier performance management
- Commitment to high ethical standards and professional conduct
