Role Description In this part-time on-site role based in Munich, the Working Student (m/f/d) – Supply Chain Planning supports daily planning and coordination of vehicle transports. The position involves assisting with demand forecasting, capacity planning, and route optimization to ensure efficient use of logistics resources. The working student helps monitor order status, delivery timelines, and inventory levels, and updates internal systems with accurate transport and planning data. The role includes preparing reports and analyses for the supply chain team, supporting communication with internal stakeholders and logistics partners, and contributing to continuous improvement of planning processes. Under guidance from experienced colleagues, the working student gains practical insight into automotive logistics and end-to-end supply chain planning.
Qualifications
Enrollment in a degree program in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to work confidently with data, spreadsheets, and planning tools.
Basic knowledge or interest in supply chain planning, transportation logistics, and process optimization.
Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a structured working style in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Google Sheets; experience with ERP or TMS systems is an advantage.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; German skills are beneficial.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team, take initiative, and manage tasks independently under guidance.
- Interest in the automotive sector and willingness to learn in an on-site logistics environment in Bayern.
