- Develop pricing guidelines, considering contribution margins, imbalances and ship system utilization
- Analyze performance indicators to maximize profits and optimize our pricing strategies
- Collaborate with the team to identify potential improvements for product optimization, including cost and competition assessments
- Maintain revenue and tender catalogues, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Assist with the monthly allocation of ship slots, considering overall profitability and market demands
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to support our pricing and product decisions and prepare reports and presentations to communicate pricing strategies and performance to stakeholders
- Support the team in ad-hoc projects and tasks, contributing to the overall success of the department
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by suggesting innovative ideas and solutions
- Currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters maritime-related degree or a relevant program such as business administration, logistics, or transport management
- Initial practical experience in the shipping, logistics or freight forwarding industry is an advantage
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative, commitment and reliability in your work, as well as excellent organizational skills with the ability to structure and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Hands-on mentality and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
- Very good communication skills in English, both spoken and written, are essential
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Analytical mindset with a keen interest in data-driven decision-making. and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic industry
