Mission
Our mission
workingstudentjobs.de is an independent job board for working student (Werkstudent) and internship jobs in Germany. We built it because these jobs are hard to find. They are spread across many company career pages, hiring platforms and LinkedIn, and there is no single place for students who want English-friendly jobs.
Our goal is to bring every relevant working student job in Germany into one place, filter out the rest automatically, and make the site useful for both local and international students.

How it works
New jobs from job sites and hiring platforms, many times a day
We collect jobs from job sites such as LinkedIn and from the hiring platforms companies use, like Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, BambooHR, Personio and Workday. We check many times a day, so new jobs usually show up within hours.
AI classification
Every new job that passes our location, title and duplicate checks goes to an AI classifier. We use OpenAI models at peak hours and DeepSeek off-peak. The classifier decides if the job is really a working student or internship job. It also detects the location, the required languages and the field, such as tech, finance or marketing.
Publish, review, or discard
Jobs the classifier accepts are published automatically, and rejected ones are discarded. Jobs it can't process, or jobs with no location, go to a manual review queue. Every day we remove jobs that have closed at their source, and LinkedIn jobs that have shown no sign of life for 45 days.

Who built this
Dinh Minh (Minton) Vu
Developer & Maintainerworkingstudentjobs.de is built and run by Dinh Minh (Minton) Vu. He is a software engineer with 3+ years of industry experience in backend, applied AI and the Elastic Stack. Until June 2026, he was a Software Engineer (Working Student) at Flowzar GmbH, a FinTech company in Munich. He is now doing an M.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of Passau.
As an international student, Minton looked for jobs in Germany himself. He built the pipeline that collects the jobs and the AI classifier that sorts them. He also built the English and German interface, the salary pages and the review queue.
