About Your Program

You’ll be joining the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, designed to give early-career talent hands-on exposure to real projects, real responsibilities, and real growth. Over 3–6 months, you’ll work alongside experienced teams, build fundamental skills, and gain insights into how a global business operates.

What You'll Do

  • Support the planning and optimization of cross-border and local fulfillment processes for industrial products across B2B/BBC/BC operations.

  • Monitor supply chain KPIs and analyze operational data to identify issues and improve overall performance.

  • Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure efficient operations, improve service quality, and optimize logistics costs.

  • Conduct market and customer research to improve fulfillment services and enhance customer experience.

  • Support digital and process improvement initiatives to increase supply chain efficiency and operational effectiveness.

About You

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, E-commerce, or a related field. Preferably students in final semester, graduating in 2026.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

  • Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or online retail is a plus.

  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 3-6 months for the internship.

  • Proficiency in English and Chinese is required; German language skills are a plus

Weekly hours

Internships have no 20-hour cap, but a voluntary internship longer than three months generally has to pay at least the German minimum wage. Mandatory internships in your study programme are exempt.

Mandatory internships are largely exempt from social contributions. Voluntary internships are treated like regular employment once they run long enough, so contributions usually apply.
