Your Mission
As a Compliance Assistant, your mission is to ensure that Trench Group maintains the highest standards of compliance and regulatory adherence. Your role is critical in supporting the Compliance department through various tasks aimed at fostering a culture of compliance and mitigating risks within the organization. Your responsibilities are designed to uphold the integrity and effectiveness of Trench Group’s compliance program.
Your Tasks:
- Monitoring & Reviewing Compliance Policies: You assist in monitoring and reviewing internal compliance policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
- Development and Maintenance of Compliance Guidelines: You support the development and maintenance of compliance guidelines, training materials, and internal communication documents.
- Research & Analysis: You conduct research on regulatory updates and industry best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant with current standards.
- Internal Audits & Risk Assessments: You assist with internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and areas for improvement. Compliance Systems and Documentation: You help maintain compliance systems and documentation to ensure accurate and organized records.
- Training and Awareness Initiatives: You support training and awareness initiatives on compliance-related topics to enhance employee understanding and adherence.
- Handling Compliance-Related Inquiries: You assist in handling compliance-related inquiries and provide support in investigations, including gathering and organizing relevant documentation.
- Collaboration with Departments: You collaborate with different departments to ensure adherence to compliance requirements and foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization
- Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, Ideally in Law, Business, or a related field. At least one year of studies remaining.
- Competencies: Proactive mindset, willingness to learn and passion for compliance topics.
- Experience (Preferred but not Required): Prior knowledge or experience in compliance or regulatory topics is a plus.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
