As a working student, you actively contribute to improving processes in an international environment. You support the analysis and optimization of value streams, gain hands-on experience with Lean methods such as 5S and value stream mapping, and collaborate with diverse teams across different locations. This role offers the opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical impact, develop analytical and communication skills, and make a visible contribution to operational excellence.
- Participate in the planning, preparation, and execution of a value stream analysis benchmark across multiple international sites
- Support workshops with local and global teams (both virtual and on-site)
- Analyze current value streams (administrative and production)
- Create process visualizations (current state VSM, future state VSM, SIPOC)
- Identify improvement opportunities using Lean methodologies
- Prepare presentations, analyses, and decision-making documents for management
- Support 5S initiatives and other Lean activities at the different sites
- Enrolled student (m/f/d) in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Business Administration, or a comparable field at least for 12 more month
- Initial practical experience in Lean Management, e.g., 5S, value stream mapping, process optimization, identification of waste (Muda), shopfloor management
- Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and enthusiasm for data and processes
- Very good German and English language skills
- High level of independence, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team
- Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio/Miro)
