ROLE PROFILE
Data analytics and artificial intelligence continue to accelerate technological change across all areas of insurance companies. Allianz is therefore building new expertise, processes, and infrastructure to harness the potential of data. Insurance Data Strategy and Product Development team and the Unique Customer View (UCV) project continuously strive for new initiatives that add value and enable a consistent and standardized data management approach: clear identification of commercial customers and business partners across Allianz by assigning a unique ID — and delivery of value-adding services that support smarter business decisions.
Tasks/ Responsibilities
- You will be involved in data-driven and AI initiatives from early ideation and prototyping through to validation.
- You will shape business cases behind the initiatives, understanding business needs, assessing feasibility, and demonstrating the value.
- You will ensure robustness and reliability of the results, conducting hands-on data analysis, comparisons and quality checks.
- You will collaborate across functions, working with business experts, data specialists, and product owners in a cross-functional team, while independently managing your topics and bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery.
- University Student (m/f/d) in Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science or related fields
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with data analysis (Python /SQL/ APIs (Postman/Insomnia) and common AI tools, along with a strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Working hours: 16-20 per week
- Start: Immediately, at least for six months (extension welcome). Requirement for working student positions is the enrolment in a university for the full duration of the job
- Good organization and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and Office365
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
- Working in motivated international team of insurance and data experts

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
