We are looking for a working student (m/f/d) who is passionate about Computer Vision and eager to apply modern AI techniques to real world identity and document verification challenges.

Your tasks:

  • Assist in the development, training and optimization of computer vision and deep learning models
  • Design and implement machine learning solutions for tasks such as object detection, image classification, segmentation, anomaly detection, OCR, and biometric verification
  • Prepare, clean and analyze image datasets for model training and evaluation
  • Conduct experiments, benchmark models, and analyze performance metrics to improve system accuracy and robustness
  • Research and evaluate the latest advancements in computer vision, deep learning, and generative AI technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into production workflows
  • Contribute to documentation, testing, and continuous improvement of AI solutions
  • Participate actively in technical discussions, knowledge sharing, and innovation initiatives


Your qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Robotics, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning concepts
  • Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Experience with computer vision libraries and tools such as OpenCV, scikit-image, or similar
  • Familiarity with modern deep learning architectures, including CNNs, Vision Transformers (ViTs), object detection frameworks (e.g., YOLO, Faster R-CNN), and image segmentation models
  • Understanding of model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and data augmentation techniques
  • Experience with Git, Linux environments, and basic software development practices is a plus
  • Knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, Docker, cloud platforms, or Generative AI is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven team player with excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn
