Role Description

This is an on-site internship role based in Karlsruhe for a Founders Associate: Marketing, Communications, Social Media. In this role, the intern supports the founding team in planning and executing marketing and communication activities, with a focus on building brand awareness for VISS’s cybersecurity solution. Day-to-day tasks may include drafting and scheduling social media posts, assisting with content creation for newsletters and blog articles, preparing pitch decks and one-pagers, and helping to maintain consistent messaging across channels. The intern will also support market research, competitor analysis, and outreach campaigns, while collaborating closely with the founders on strategic initiatives and event preparation.

Qualifications

• Interest in marketing, communications, and social media, ideally supported by studies in business, communications, media, or a related field.
• Ability to create clear, engaging written content in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Basic familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram) and content planning tools.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage several tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Curiosity about cybersecurity and deep tech, with a willingness to quickly learn and understand technical concepts.
• Comfort working on-site in Karlsruhe and collaborating closely with the founding team.
• Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and readiness to take ownership of projects with guidance.
• Mandatory: C2 in English + in German or French
• Currently enrolled in University, this Internship is a mandatory requirement for completion of your studies
