Your Mission
As a Working Student in Accounting, your mission is to support our accounting team in day‑to‑day operations and ongoing process improvements. You will gain hands‑on exposure to core accounting topics, contribute to documentation and harmonization initiatives, and support the team during critical monthly closing activities.
- Support the harmonization and further development of the global accounting manual, helping to make accounting processes more transparent, consistent, and user‑friendly across the organization using Confluence
- Contribute to the roll‑out and continuous improvement of a new travel expense process, working closely with accounting and internal stakeholders
- Provide hands‑on support in day‑to‑day accounting operations, gaining exposure to core processes such as postings, reconciliations, and documentation - especially during the monthly closing cycle
- Assist with ad‑hoc accounting topics, research questions, and data checks to support informed decision‑making
- Support process documentation, data analysis, and optimization initiatives, with the opportunity to identify improvement ideas and learn how accounting processes are standardized and enhanced in an international company
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, ideally with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Basic to solid understanding of IFRS and HGB
- First practical experience with SAP R/3 (S/4HANA is a plus)
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Good communication skills in English and German
- Interest in digital tools such as Confluence and AI productivity tools (e.g. Copilot) is a plus
