Then come and support us in our Advanced Hydrogen Technology Team at Sungrow European Research Institute to take part in industrial R&D development towards a clean energy solution! Curious what this is all about? Let’s dive right in:
- Conduct general activities including documentation, data acquisition, analysis, and regular inspection and maintenance of lab devices.
- Support data acquisition from laboratory experiments, sensors, and test systems.
- Perform market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and potential opportunities in the clean energy sector.
- Preprocess, clean, and validate large-scale datasets for analysis.
- Develop and maintain Python-based scripts for data handling and automation.
- Apply data analysis, statistics, and visualization techniques to extract valuable insights.
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to improve data quality and optimize workflows.
- Document data pipelines, code, and analysis results in a clear and structured manner.
Role
All right, all right, that was intriguing, wasn't it? Now, in order to fit into this role and be happy for a long time, your ideal background should look a lot like this:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering, Physics, Electrochemistry, Natural Science, Energy Engineering, or possess equivalent experience/training.
- Demonstrate research abilities, including experience in data collection and report generation for market analysis.
- Possess intermediate to advanced Python programming skills, including experience with libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib.
- Show an understanding of data analysis concepts and experience handling large datasets.
- Familiarity with AI / Machine Learning basics is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work with experimental raw data formats like CSV and TXT files.
- Exhibit a structured, analytical mindset, along with good documentation and communication skills.
- Bring motivation to actively contribute and offer your expertise, coupled with flexibility, reliability, and a self-sufficient work style.
- English language skills at a working level (C1) are required, and good German language skills are a plus.
