Beschreibung bereitgestellt von Hypersonica
At Hypersonica, we’re redefining what’s possible in European defence technology. We exist to deliver speed, resilience, and technological independence at a pace that sets a new standard. We are a small, elite team working on problems that matter, and solving them fast.
As a Working Student at Hypersonica, you won’t be here to 'observe'. You’ll be embedded in a real team, working on real problems that affect hardware, schedules, and outcomes. This is a high-trust environment where you’ll be given responsibility early, expected to learn fast, and supported by people who move quickly and care about quality.
We hire for talent and trajectory, not perfect CVs. If you’re curious, hands-on, and want to build skills on a programme that is moving faster than anything else in Europe, we want to hear from you. The work you do here directly contributes to Europe’s technological independence.
What You'll Do
- Support day-to-day procurement: raising orders, requesting quotes, supplier communication, and keeping procurement data clean and current.
- Build simple scoreboards and KPIs: dashboards, analysis of procurement and logistics data, and clear reporting that helps the team make faster decisions.
- Contribute to logistics strategy: analyse current flows and help shape a forward-looking approach as we scale.
- Supplier evaluation and development: set up a structured supplier evaluation system, run analyses, and prepare materials for supplier meetings.
- Process optimisation and digitalisation: map purchasing processes, identify automation opportunities, and support rollout of digital tools (e-procurement, BI).
- Support category management: analyse selected categories, build market and cost overviews, and contribute to category strategies.
- Inventory and warehouse optimisation: ABC/XYZ analyses, identify excess stock and bottlenecks, and propose practical optimisations.
- Enrolled student (ideally TUM) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a similar field.
- Analytical and data-driven: you enjoy turning messy inputs into clear insights and actions.
- Must have strong Excel skills; experience with BI tools is a plus.
- Structured, reliable, and independent: you don’t need chasing and you finish what you start.
- Interested in procurement, logistics, and process improvement in a real hardware company where speed and discipline matter.
- Comfortable working in a small team where you’ll get real responsibility early and your work will be used immediately.
- A mission driven environment with the opportunity to work on one of Europe’s most consequential defence challenges, with direct impact on sovereign capability and security.
- Daily collaboration with top experts across engineering, operations, and defence, with real opportunity to learn from the best, contribute, and grow.
- High ownership and autonomy; no time tracking, no micromanagement, just clear objectives and accountability for outcomes.
- A fast paced environment where good ideas are implemented quickly, and feedback from test and flight drives real decisions.
- A culture that values clarity, integrity, and excellence, and supports people who take initiative and push boundaries responsibly.
