The Job

As a Working Student in Finance, you'll support our Finance team in turning financial data into meaningful business insights across Kleinanzeigen. You'll gain hands-on experience in financial planning, reporting, and business partnering while working closely with colleagues across different teams. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your analytical skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role, our office is in Berlin-Charlottenburg. You report to the Financial Planning & Analysis Lead.

Job requirements

Who You Are

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and are enrolled as a student for at least one more year.
• You have gained initial practical experience through an internship, working student role, or similar position in Finance or Accounting.
• You enjoy working with numbers and data, have strong analytical skills, and are confident using Microsoft Excel. Experience with Google Sheets or SAP is a plus.
• You are well organized, work in a structured and detail-oriented way, and can manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
  
  

Job responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Support weekly revenue reporting and performance analysis to help monitor business performance.
• Contribute to the automation and continuous improvement of weekly and monthly financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including P&L reporting, variance analysis, and financial commentary.
• Monitor incoming invoices, support the accrual process, and collaborate with budget owners on financial planning activities.
• Provide day-to-day support to budget owners, including guidance on purchase processes in SAP.
• Work closely with Finance, Controlling, and business stakeholders across Kleinanzeigen and the wider group to deliver accurate and timely financial insights.
