Do you want to actively shape the energy transition while gaining hands-on experience in financial controlling?

As a Working Student in our Business Control team for Solar & Batteries, you will get a real insight into how financial processes support renewable energy projects — and how your work contributes to a more sustainable future. At Vattenfall, we believe: there is a way.

Your role

In this position, you support the controlling team in managing financial processes for renewable energy projects. You contribute to daily operations while gaining valuable insights into how financial decisions shape the energy transition.

Your main tasks

  • Support procurement processes, especially invoice workflows
  • Assist with billing and payment processes, including manual transactions
  • Contribute to monthly closing activities and financial reporting
  • Help keep daily controlling operations running smoothly
  • Work closely with the Controlling Management Team and support ongoing projects

Qualifications

Your profile

You are currently studying in a relevant field and want to gain practical experience in finance within a purpose-driven industry. You enjoy working together with others and bring a careful and structured way of working.

  • Enrolled in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Master’s student (at the beginning of the program)
  • Living in Hamburg or Berlin
  • Spolid Excel skills; first experience with SAP is a plus
  • Communicate well in English (written and spoken at least C1) and German language skills (A2–B1) is a plus
  • Open-minded, collaborative, and eager to learn in an international environment

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
