Job description

Are you a student in Germany who loves vaping and wants to turn your passion into hands-on sales experience? MEGA (a brand of Firstunion) is looking for 1 highly motivated Field Sales & Brand Ambassador Interns to hit the streets, conquer retail, and help us expand our footprint across key regions. This is not a desk job – you’ll be the face of MEGA in kiosks, shisha shops, e-cigarette stores, and beyond.

Working Model

This is a fully field-based role with no fixed office. You’ll start your day directly from your home or dormitory, covering your assigned store territory within your region. All daily tasks — store visits, sampling, data collection, and merchandising — are executed on the move at various retail locations. You’ll be responsible for managing your own route and schedule within your area, with regular digital check-ins and remote support from the team.

What you’ll do

  • Retail expansion & coverage: Visit and engage targeted stores (kiosks, shisha shops, e-cigarette shops, handy shops, etc.) in assigned areas, driving product distribution and visibility.
  • Product sampling & feedback collection: Hand out samples to store owners and staff, record their feedback, and relay insights to support product and sales strategy.
  • Lead generation & trial order conversion: Identify buying interest through face-to-face conversations, capture and upload qualified sales leads, and assist the sales team in converting trial orders.
  • Competitor intelligence: Photograph and document competitor displays, pricing, and promotions (e.g., Elfbar, Vozol, Flerbar), systematically feeding back market dynamics and sell-through observations.
  • Store data & reporting: Take and upload store photos, location details, and shelf information; submit daily/weekly reports using digital tools, ensuring data is real, timely, and traceable.
  • Merchandising support: Help optimize in-store product presentation to boost exposure and sell-through.
  • Other tasks assigned by the line manager.

What we’re looking for

  • Student status & work authorization: You must hold a valid German student visa/residence permit and be legally allowed to work. Priority will be given to candidates with high available work-day capacity (e.g., semester break or light course load). Please be ready to share your visa supplement page specifying allowed working days/hours and the days already used this year.
  • Language: German at full working proficiency (at least C1 level) – you’ll be talking to shop owners all day. English is a plus.
  • Personality: Outgoing, energetic, approachable, and genuinely comfortable striking up conversations with strangers.
  • Work style: Detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic about sales.
  • Nice-to-have (strong plus): You hold a valid German driver’s license. You’re an active vaping product user – you know the scene and can talk about it authentically.

What we offer

  • Real responsibility, real mentorship: You’ll be guided by experienced field sales teammates and quickly take ownership of your own store territory.
  • Flexible schedule: Working hours are set around your individual circumstances; we prefer students with substantial availability.
  • Hourly wage: €13.90/hour (aligned with German minimum wage), paid monthly.
  • Internship contract & certificate: Official internship agreement starting from May 2025, with a formal internship certificate provided upon completion.
  • Dynamic team culture: Join a small, agile squad where your energy directly impacts results – we encourage a “catfish effect” and fresh perspectives.
