A Snapshot of Your Day

As a working student in the Productivity & Cost Management team, you are part of the Finance function for Large Gas Turbines. The role is designed to support and further develop the business unit’s data‑driven financial analysis and reporting capabilities.

To achieve this, the position focuses on two core areas: Business Intelligence and dashboard development, including the creation and maintenance of reports using tools such as Power BI, and data analysis and platform support, with a focus on SQL‑based data queries and contribution to the modernization of the analytics infrastructure.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Development, maintenance, and enhancement of interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for KPI visualization
  • Analysis and preparation of data from multiple sources, including SAP, for user‑oriented reporting
  • Translation of reporting requirements into effective Business Intelligence solutions in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Creation, optimization, and execution of SQL queries for data extraction and analytical purposes
  • Support in the development and maintenance of a modern analytics platform, such as Snowflake
  • Contribution to data‑driven solutions, including exposure to AI and Machine Learning applications in a financial context


What You Bring

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s students preferred)
  • Strong passion for data, analytics, and business intelligence, with initial practical experience in data handling as an advantage
  • Knowledge of SQL, Business Intelligence concepts, data visualization, and data analysis
  • Programming skills in Python, including experience with libraries such as Pandas
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability, and high attention to detail
  • Effective self‑management skills and solid understanding of data management principles
