Description provided by inca

Help Build Agentic AI for Insurance — Join inca as an Intern (Product)

We’re hiring a Product Intern to support the CPTO of inca for the next 3-6 months and help bring our Agentic AI vision to life. You’ll be at the core of defining, designing, and deploying cutting-edge AI agents that automate complex insurance claims.

This is not a “watch-and-learn” internship. You’ll be working directly on core product topics — from AI agent definition to testing data preparation and service design. Expect a high-speed, high-responsibility environment where your work will ship.

Who We Are

We are inca - a venture-backed startup on a mission to automate insurance claims through Agentic AI.

  • 🚀 We bring Agentic AI to insurance industry with a no-bullshit approach — delivering cutting-edge results, where others overpromise.

  • 🔥 The market is on fire: we’re flooded with inbound interest from insurers eager to transform their claims processes.

  • 🧠 Our team combines former BCG Project Leaders, industry- and AI-experts. Together, we’re redefining how insurances are operating in Europe.

  • 💥 We're backed by top-tier VCs from one of the most competitive InsurTech Pre-Seed rounds in Europe

Tasks

You’ll work side-by-side with inca’s CPTO and engineering team to accelerate the development of our product engine. Your tasks will include:

  • 🧪 Conduct product interviews with internal experts and users to define capabilities and workflows for AI agents

  • 🧰 Prepare testing data and test scenarios to evaluate AI agent performance

  • 🤝 Collaborate with senior engineers to design the services and tools that bring these agents to life

  • 🧠 Derive data-driven insights to drive product decisions

  • 🧭 Support the CPTO in crafting and maintaining the product roadmap

  • 📝 Assist in creating documentation, flows, and UX outlines for the agentic engine

Requirements

What You Bring

  • 🎓 You’re currently studying or have completed a degree in product, tech, or business

  • 📦 3+ internships or working student experience in product management, product design, or AI/tech startups

  • 💡 You think in systems and data — how parts interact, how users behave, and what makes things work well - and how we find the traces in data

  • ✍️ You’re structured and curious, communicate clearly, and love getting to the root of complex problems

  • 🧪 Bonus: Familiarity with agent-based systems, AI model evaluation, or test automation

  • 🛡️ Bonus: Experience or understanding of insurance or P&C claims is highly valuable

Benefits

Why INCA

  • 🤖 Real AI, real impact. We don’t do AI theater. We build agentic systems that actually work — transforming an industry that’s been asleep for decades.

  • 💥 No-bullshit culture. No politics, no empty promises — just clarity, ownership, and results.

  • 🧠 Elite learning curve. Work side-by-side with former BCG Product Leaders and AI experts. Learn how to build and scale a venture-backed startup from the inside.

  • 🌍 Location. Based in Berlin (3+ days per week on-site), hybrid-friendly, with regular offsites and founder exposure.

  • 🌴 Timing. Start ASAP for a 3–6 month full-time internship with a competitive salary.

  • High-speed environment. We move fast, fix fast, and execute relentlessly — because we’re here to win.

  • 🏋️‍♀️ Plus: all the perks you’d expect — and the momentum of building something that actually matters.
