As a working student in our controlling team, you will play a crucial part in our reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of results and planning materials to our Board. Your work will involve managing data, creating PowerPoint presentations and assisting with various projects, offering a well-rounded experience in a dynamic corporate environment.


What You´ll Do

  • Support the Controlling team with monthly and quarterly reporting to the Board
  • Manage and organize data input files for efficient reporting
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for board-level communication
  • Assist in daily data analysis and processing, ensuring accuracy and integrity
  • Contribute to projects like introducing new controlling concepts and adapting reporting structures
  • Maintain a high level of data confidentiality and security
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth project execution
  • Provide support during the finalization of reporting materials and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in controlling


What Makes You A Fit

  • Currently pursuing a full-time Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Controlling, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
  • A keen interest in the shipping industry and corporate finance
  • Attention to detail and a structured approach to work
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems
  • Flexibility to accommodate reporting deadlines, as well as a proactive and positive attitude towards teamwork

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
