As a Working Student (m/f/d) Support Pricing, you are part of our Supply Optimisation team and support day-to-day operations as well as data- and system-related tasks. You work in a dynamic environment and collaborate closely with colleagues across functions, gaining insights into the operational steering of supply and pricing processes.
In your role, you contribute to maintaining internal pricing models, support market and data analysis, and assist in improving tools and processes. This allows you to build a solid understanding of how data-driven decisions are made within an international energy business.
A key focus of this role is to develop a structured way of working while navigating a fast-paced environment and understanding the interaction between market data, systems, and operational processes.
Your Tasks In a Nutshell
- Support Pricing Models: You assist in maintaining and updating internal pricing models for the physical supply of products.
- Analyse Data: You support data analysis and help identify optimisation opportunities within supply strategies.
- Monitor Markets: You track spot market prices and support the preparation of market overviews.
- Communicate with Suppliers: You help gather pricing information and maintain an up-to-date view of supplier data.
- Maintain Systems: You support the entry of deals into the trading system and ensure data consistency.
- Improve Tools: You contribute to the development and enhancement of tools, reports, and simple automation solutions.
- Education: You are an enrolled student (m/f/d) in Business, Economics, Data Science or a related field.
- Analytical Interest: You enjoy working with data and have an interest in analytical and operational topics.
- Technical Skills: Good knowledge of Excel; first experience with SQL, Python or similar tools is a plus.
- Languages: Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
- Working Style: You are comfortable working in a structured way in a dynamic environment.
- Team Player: You enjoy working in a small team and contribute actively to shared goals.
- Structured & Reliable: You work carefully and keep track of tasks and deadlines.
- Curious & Proactive: You are motivated to learn and take initiative when supporting tasks.
- Communicative: You interact confidently with different stakeholders and ask questions when needed.
