Beschreibung bereitgestellt von Alpine Business Consulting
Our team is currently supporting a partner based in Berlin as they overhaul their financial reporting framework. This involves complex data migrations and system configurations that require careful oversight. Because of this, we are looking for a project management intern to assist our consultants. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from wherever you are most productive as long as you can stay aligned with our team and our partners. This position is a full-time internship and is a paid opportunity. The compensation is competitive for the role and the current market.
About the role
In this role, you will be the glue that keeps our projects organized. Project management at Alpine Business Consulting is about ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You will help our consultants maintain project schedules, update task lists, and ensure that our Berlin-based partner is always aware of our progress. You will see firsthand how complex technical projects are planned and executed without the typical chaos found in many consulting firms. Since we are a remote organization, clear and frequent communication is the standard for how we work.
What you will do
- Support the lead consultants in tracking the timeline and milestones for our current project with our Berlin-based partner.
- Write and distribute regular status reports to keep all parties informed of progress and potential roadblocks.
- Assist in the creation of project documentation, ensuring that every configuration step is recorded for the client's future use.
- Organize internal team meetings and take clear, actionable notes that help the team stay focused.
- Help maintain the project backlog, ensuring that tasks are clearly defined and assigned correctly.
- Verify that handover materials are complete and easy for the client to understand once a project phase concludes.
- Liaise with our partners to collect necessary data or feedback to move projects forward.
- Ensure all electronic files and project assets are organized in a logical and accessible structure.
- A current student or recent graduate in business, management, finance, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and an interest in how businesses use software to manage their finances.
- The ability to write clearly and professionally without using unnecessary jargon.
- Reliability and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- A basic understanding of project management concepts or a strong willingness to learn them quickly.
- Comfort with using standard office software and a general curiosity about technical systems.
- A focused approach to work, with a high regard for documentation and detail.
- The ability to ask the right questions when instructions are unclear.
- Residency is not a factor, as our team operates entirely through remote collaboration tools.
Working at Alpine Business Consulting means you will be treated like a professional from the start. We do not use our clients as training grounds for junior staff, which means you will be working alongside experienced consultants who have spent years in the industry. You will gain real-world experience in project management and enterprise software implementation. Our culture is built on honesty and getting things right the first time. You will have the flexibility of a fully remote schedule while still being part of a structured and supportive team environment. We value documentation and clear processes, which makes it easier for you to learn the ropes and contribute meaningfully to the project for our partner in Berlin.
Consulting projects can be complex, but they should never be a mystery. We take pride in building systems that work reliably and then stepping back, ensuring the company has the training and configuration guides needed to remain independent. As an intern, you will play a part in creating that reliability. We look forward to finding a candidate who shares our commitment to clean data and professional integrity.
