We are looking for a
Working Student in our Power & Gas Logistics Solutions Team.
The team you can join works closely with business – our Power & Gas traders – and takes the leading role in supplying custom developed solutions.
What will you do?
You and your team colleagues are developing software solutions using latest technologies and methodologies to nurture business development while staying compliant with our software architectural and security guidelines. Your largest business stakeholder is the Trading floor.
Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Participation in regular vendor relationship management incl. regular weekly meetings
- Organization of change requests regarding the software vendor
- Testing of software upgrades and coordinating the testing with business users incl. formulation of test cases/runbooks
- Cross-team communication regarding upgrades, downtimes etc.
- Taking ownership of defined projects within the team, such as data migrations, documentation reviews, and business analysis projects
- Keeping track of certificates and renewals
Your profile
- Student in German university
- Field of study: business informatics, business administration, energy management, information technology or similar
- Interest in the energy sector, especially energy trading
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken). German is a plus.
- Presence in Hamburg office requested (e.g. 1 day/week)
- Preferably => 3 semesters university experience
