As part of BA Wind you will play a key role in one of the most exciting pipelines in the industry with >25GW of capacity stretching out more than a decade ahead across our key European markets.
As a Working Student – Offshore Strategy & Analysis, you will support the BU Offshore Strategy Team with strategic projects, market and competitor analysis, and the preparation of decision-relevant insights. You will research developments in the offshore wind sector, analyse trends and competitors, and contribute to strategic initiatives.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the strategic development of one of Europe's leading offshore wind businesses while working on topics that are highly relevant to the future of the industry. You will support the development of structured analysis products and leverage modern digital tools to efficiently gather, structure and analyse information.
Your Tasks And Responsibilities
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities and key developments in the offshore wind sector
- Analyse strategic activities of relevant industry players
- Prepare regular market and competitor analyses for the Strategy Team
- Summarise insights in a concise and decision-oriented manner
- Support strategic projects through market, technology and competitor research
- Conduct deep dives on selected strategic topics and industry developments
- Structure findings and contribute to presentations and management materials
- Identify relevant trends, opportunities and risks in the offshore wind sector
- Use digital tools to support research, analysis and reporting activities
- Contribute to improving efficient approaches for analysis and information management
- Support the development of structured analysis products and knowledge resources for the Strategy Team
- Help enhance information management and analytical processes
- Build and maintain trackers, databases and dashboards
- Structure and analyse market and competitor information
- Support the visualisation and communication of strategic insights
Your Profile
- Ongoing studies in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Energy Management, Data Science, Business Analytics or a related field
- Strong interest in strategy, markets and business developments
- High affinity for digital tools and emerging technologies
- Analytical, structured and independent way of working
- First experience with data analytics, visualisation or automation
- Ability to take ownership and proactively drive topics forward
- Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken
- Interest in renewable energy and offshore wind
- German language skills
