Summer Semester 2027 – fixed term of 3–6 months
YOUR TASKS:
- Develop and evaluate different concepts for applying defined radial forces to servo motor shafts.
- Define technical requirements, taking functionality, accuracy, safety and cost-effectiveness into account.
- Assess different concepts based on technical and economic criteria.
- Design and dimension the selected solution.
- Build and commission a prototype or test setup.
- Plan, conduct and evaluate tests to verify the developed concept.
- Document your results and present the proposed solution.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Degree studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation engineering or a comparable field
- Interest in mechanical design, experimental engineering and mechatronic systems
- Initial experience with CAD design tools is an advantage
- Structured and independent working style
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Motivation to take ownership of technical challenges
- Good command of German or English
