Summer Semester 2027 – limited to 3–6 months
YOUR TASKS:
- Further develop an existing measurement setup for characterizing optical sensors and assemblies
- Automate individual processes using motorized rotary tables and actuators
- Design and construct fixtures to integrate the required measurement and testing equipment into the setup
- Select suitable measurement and testing equipment and support the procurement process
- Implement the developed solutions, verify their functionality, and document your results in detail
YOUR PROFILE:
- Studying Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable degree program
- Initial experience in mechanical design and working with CAD systems
- Knowledge of MATLAB or Python is an advantage
- Independent and solution-oriented approach to work
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Innovative mindset and an interest in further developing technical measurement systems
