A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Working Student in Additive Manufacturing, you will support the development and industrialization of advanced gas turbine components. You will work closely with experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience in design, manufacturing, quality, and process development while contributing your analytical skills and hands-on mindset.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • CAD modeling and design optimization of components for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM)
  • Support of FEA, thermal, and fluid simulations for component development
  • Preparation of 3D print jobs and build configurations using specialized AM software
  • Manufacturing cost assessment and coordination with internal workshops and external suppliers
  • Quality inspection and documentation of manufactured components and post-processing activities
  • Project documentation, reporting, and engineering support, including process improvement initiatives

What You Bring

  • Current enrollment in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
  • Initial experience in Additive Manufacturing, CAD, or Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM)
  • Basic knowledge of simulation, FEM, data analysis, and manufacturing processes
  • Understanding of manufacturing technologies, cost assessment, and quality assurance
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, technical documentation, and project coordination
  • Fluency in English, with German language skills as an advantage

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
