Job description
octonomy published this listing. We've added our own working-student context below — what this role means for your weekly hours, take-home pay and student visa as a student in Cologne, Germany.
Description provided by octonomy
You'll sit at the intersection of instructional design and live training – embedded in our Product team, reporting to the Platform Product Manager. This is a hands-on role: you write, structure, build, and facilitate. Not just coordinate.
What You'll Do
- Design and create video lessons, reference pages, and workshop materials for the octonomy platform
- Translate complex product features into clear, step-by-step content for non-technical audiences
- Co-facilitate enablement sessions and bootcamps, with the goal of running them independently over time
- Support participants in building working agent configurations during live labs
- Turn session feedback into concrete content improvements
- Track content status, review cycles, and open gaps across the enablement backlog
- Currently enrolled in a Master's programme in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communication, or a related field
- Strong written communication in English – clear, structured, direct
- Comfortable working with technical subject matter you don't yet fully know: you ask the right questions and synthesise fast
- Organised and self-directed – you manage parallel workstreams without close supervision
- Experience creating learning content or facilitating workshops (even informally) is a plus
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Loom, or Tango is a bonus
- Real ownership from day one – you contribute to deliverables that ship, not shadow tasks
- Full exposure to a product enablement function: content strategy, instructional design, and live facilitation
- A small team where your work is visible and your input shapes how things are done
- Flexible hours built around your university schedule
Let's build the future of work – together. Seriously.
At octonomy, you'll find an environment that values quality, fosters creativity, and delivers real, measurable results. If you're excited to bring AI into everyday business practice and grow with us along the way, we'd love to meet you.
