About NeoCarbon
NeoCarbon is building a next-generation cooling and carbon capture system for data centers. With proof-of-concept partnerships in place and public grants secured, we are now transitioning from R&D into pilots and early commercial scale across Europe.
🌿The role
We are looking for a Working Student to work directly with the Business Development Manager, with a primary focus on public funding and finance, helping us secure and manage the grants that fuel our growth. In practice, that means:
- Public funding & finance — researching funding opportunities, writing public funding applications, administrative and financial reporting, supporting accounting
- Operations & AI automation — keeping things running and improving: AI process improvements, office coordination
As we are a young and ambitious team, there are probably more day-to-day tasks to help with than what is listed above :)
🎯What we are looking for

- Most importantly: you are excited to join a fast-paced environment with the aim to make a difference in the world!
- Structured, proactive working style with the ability to take ownership of tasks and projects
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking skills and attention to details
- Fluent in German and English
- You are available 16–20 hours per week, starting as soon as possible
- Confident use of AI tools for research, ideation, and content support
- Previous relevant work experience of at least 0.5 year
