Business Development - Intern

About NeoCarbon

NeoCarbon is building a next-generation cooling and carbon capture system for data centers. With proof-of-concept partnerships in place and public grants secured, we are now transitioning from R&D into pilots and early commercial scale across Europe. 

🌿The role

You’ll be integrated from Day 1 into the different activities of our 3-person business team and work at the intersection of financing, business development, and marketing to turn early traction into commercial growth. In practice, that means:

• Public funding & finance — researching funding opportunities, writing public funding applications, administrative and financial reporting, supporting accounting 
• Business development — supporting day-to-day business operations and preparing commercial materials
• Marketing — running our LinkedIn, drafting the newsletter, creating visuals
• Operations & AI automation — keeping things running and better: AI processes, company events, office coordination

As we are a young and ambitious team, there are probably more day-to-day tasks to help with than what is listed above :)

🎯What we are looking for

This is the ideal background below, but we urge you to apply even if you do not meet all of the criteria. 

• Most importantly: you are excited to join a fast-paced environment with the aim to make a difference in the world!
• Structured, proactive working style with the ability to take ownership of tasks and projects
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking skills and attention to details
• Fluent in German and English
• You are available for an internship of 4-5 days per week for the coming 3-6 months, and the internship can start as soon as possible
• Confident use of AI tools for research, ideation, and content support
• Previous relevant work experience of at least 0.5 year 
• We mostly work in person (Berlin), with flexibility where needed
