Description provided by Holidu

Holidu is one of the world’s fastest-growing vacation rental technology companies. Our mission is to make booking and hosting holiday homes free of doubt and full of joy, by helping hosts generate more bookings with less work and helping guests find a holiday home they truly enjoy. Our team of 700 colleagues from 60+ nations shares a passion for tech, an ambition for constant improvement, and a relentless drive to bring the best experience to more than 40k vacation rental hosts and 4 million annual guests.

Your future team

This is a Working Student position for students enrolled in university. You will be working 20h per week, with 1-2 days per week in the office in Munich.

Join our Host Experience department as a Working Student QA Tester and become part of the team that brings value-adding services to our hosts to make Holidu the one-stop shop for our hosts’ vacation rental business.

This team sits at a uniquely important intersection of product and engineering. You'll help test and validate the systems that hosts and guests rely on: from a unified messaging inbox that connects hosts to guests across booking channels, over insurance protection to streamlined tools for managing guest check-in — the work demands curiosity and precision — because a smooth, reliable experience for hosts and guests doesn't happen by accident. It's built, tested, and refined by people like you.

Role

  • Own your testing scope across specific features and releases, from defining the approach to seeing it through.
  • Join the full product cycle — concept, requirements, design, integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Write and execute test cases for web and mobile, covering manual and automated scenarios.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and QA engineers to make sure what ships is genuinely good.

Your backpack is filled with

  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a natural instinct for spotting what can go wrong.
  • Ability to design and execute meaningful test cases for web applications.
  • Clear, confident communication in English (business fluent).
  • Basic understanding of SQL for running queries.
  • Structured, independent, and curious — you enjoy figuring things out and working as part of a team.
  • Bonus points for coding skills, experience with AI tools such as Claude Code, prior experience with JIRA, Cypress, or BrowserStack, or any coursework in QA or software testing.
