During your 6‑month assignment, you will be involved in a wide range of HR-related activities, with a strong focus on process optimization, continuous improvement, and supporting Germany employment conditions. This includes focused project work to design, update, and enhance operational processes into reliable, quality-driven ways of working.
- Administrative support: assist the HR Operations team with day‑to‑day tasks and documentation. Review and update process documentation to ensure aligned and consistent information for each stage of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding.
- Data, Reporting & Systems: work with employee data in our HR systems, support accurate process administration, run data quality checks, and help prepare basic reports. Review audit and data quality processes for improvement and reliability, making recommendations for optimizations.
- Process Improvement & Digitalization: help document, streamline, and optimize HR processes. Bring fresh ideas on how to simplify workflows, reduce manual work, and introduce automation or AI‑driven improvements. Support the implementation of enhanced, automated workflows and develop guidelines for HR users on maintaining these solutions.
- Employee Experience: support onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and absence processes to ensure a smooth employee journey, with special attention to German requirements.
- Benefits & Compliance: assist with German benefits administration (e.g., pensions, insurances, vouchers) and help research local HR policies and compliance topics.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in HR, Business, Data/Analytics, or a related field.
- Fluent in German (B2) and English (C1), with proactive communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented, structured, and reliable, you enjoy making processes work better.
- Curious about how AI and automation can improve HR efficiency.
- Skilled in MS Office, especially Excel (including such skills as vlookup, pivot tables, graphs).
- Comfortable using or learning AI tools (experience with Microsoft Copilot is a plus).
- A team player with strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Available from July or August 2026.
- Able to work in a hybrid setup from our HERE Berlin office, requiring 2 days per week onsite.

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
