Position

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student (m/f/d) to support our Finance team. This role is ideal for a student who is eager to develop their skills in finance and gain practical experience in a dynamic and international environment. The selected candidate will receive comprehensive training, working closely alongside a member of the Finance team to understand our internal systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance team with travel costs reconciliation.
  • Review, book, and reimburse travel costs, including incoming invoices.
  • Assist in cost reporting and credit card reconciliation.
  • Execute accounts reconciliation tasks.
  • Provide support for employee day-to-day queries.
  • Assist in period-end closing activities, including cost reporting.
  • Help onboard newcomers and provide training in travel management tools.
  • Develop and improve internal processes.
  • Assist with other finance implementation tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations.

Required Competencies

  • Attention to Detail: The ability to focus on details and ensure accuracy in all tasks is crucial.
  • Eager to Develop: A strong interest in learning and growing in the field of finance.
  • Proficient in Excel: Solid knowledge of Excel is essential for this role.
  • Internal Customer Orientation: A customer-centric mindset when handling internal queries.
  • Proficient in English: Strong written and spoken English skills are essential.
  • Technical Skills: The ability to conduct efficient research on the internet is highly desirable.

Training Details

The student will work side by side with an Accountant, gaining a strong understanding of our internal systems and processes, with a particular focus on attention to detail, internal customer orientation, and proficiency in Excel.

Educational Background

  • Field of Study: Preference for students in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Level of Study: Candidates should be Bachelor’s or Master’s students with at least 1-2 full years remaining in their studies.
