What You’ll Do & Who You Are

The Finance Operations is an international team of 9 young professionals with different backgrounds. We are working with several partners in the business to purchase services for our company, and have interactions with different departments like Legal, HR and Procurement, and with our suppliers. We focus on optimization and standardization of mobile.de Purchase to Pay processes and help improve our ERP system SAP4Hana. You will report to the Head of Finance Operations. The working student role will be part-time (20h/week), and we're working in a hybrid setup between our office in Berlin-Charlottenburg and working from home.

You will join one of mobile.de's widely celebrated teams — a CRM team that is consistently recognised as a role model across the organisation, won last year's company award for outstanding performance and is trusted by leadership to push the boundaries of customer communication.

Job requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Support daily financial operations
• Help with the accounts payable processes
• Help prepare financial reports and analyses
• Contribute to budget forecasting
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Support internal audit processes and financial controls
• Help update financial databases and systems
• Participate in process improvement plans within the finance operations department
• Help prepare presentations for management meetings
• Support ad-hoc financial projects
  
  

Job responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field at a university or university of applied sciences in Germany
• You are fluent in English (written and spoken) and have a B1 or better knowledge of German
• You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets and other applications
• You have a basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Your work is structured, even with multiple projects
• You focus on the solution
• You are eager to use new technologies and processes
