Your mission

We are looking for new Interns (f/m/d) to join our Private Debt Investment Team. As an Intern, you will gain hands-on experience and actively support the team throughout various stages of the investment process. Your responsibilities include:

  • Market & Company Analysis: Researching industries and potential investee companies.
  • Investment Screening: Assisting in the initial assessment of new investment opportunities.
  • Due Diligence & Investment Papers: Supporting the preparation of investment committee papers and due diligence processes, including buy-side and independent assessments.
  • Origination Support: Conducting research to identify new investment opportunities and support deal sourcing.

Your profile

We are looking for an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, passion for excellence and strong communication skills. Key prerequisites include:

  • Student of Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Engineering/Mathematics/Informatics, or similar at a top tier university (minimum of 4 semesters Bachelor);
  • Previous work experience in the fields of leveraged finance, investment banking, private equity, debt advisory, transaction services, or other private debt experience required;
  • Solid understanding of financial models;
  • Highly commercial with a strong business sense;
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in private debt and alternative investments;
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in German and English.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
