Your mission

We are looking for a Working Student Private Credit Portfolio Management (m/f/d) to join our Team. As a Working Student, you will gain hands-on experience and actively support the team throughout various stages of the portfolio management process. Your responsibilities include:

  • Portfolio Monitoring Updates: Based on available company reporting update relevant monitoring sheets of existing investee companies.
  • Portfolio Review & Risk Analysis: Assisting in the ongoing assessment of the development of existing investments.
  • Committee Papers: Supporting the preparation of investment committee papers for add-ons, waivers and other contractual adjustments.
  • General Portfolio Support: Conducting research and performing analyses to clarify specific aspects of the Bright Capital portfolio.

Your profile

We are looking for an individual with an analytic mindset, passion for excellence and strong interest in Private Credit. Key prerequisites include:

  • Student of Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar at a top tier university;
  • Solid understanding of business planning, financial models and accounting standards;
  • Strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in private debt and alternative investments;
  • Self-starting attitude with high motivation to work independently and reliably;
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to enhance their private credit knowledge and understanding;
  • Previous work experience in relevant fields such as accounting / transaction services (Big 4 or similar) / leveraged finance or similar is helpful but not a requirement;
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in German and English.

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
