Intern Reinsurance Analytics (m/f/d)

Who will you be joining?

We are looking for a working student (m/f/d) for our modern and innovative location Munich.

Allianz Re is the Group’s reinsurance vehicle that actively manages risk and capital. Our range of activities includes reinsurance, capital management, run-off, cat risk management and risk data analytics. This strong combination of skills, experience, innovative mindset and capacity drives our mission of understanding risk and creating value.

You are sensitive to intercultural differences, corporate topics and corporate culture.

How can you make an impact?

• Data Analysis – assist in analysing reinsurance data to help identify trends and patterns. This may involve working with larger excel based data sets and preparing reports.
• Documentation - Assist in maintaining and updating documentation related to the processes within the Portfolio Analytics team.
• Project support – participate in various projects and data driven request to support the external retrocession placement.
• Learning – you will learn about reinsurance concepts, processes and tools and apply this knowledge to contribute effectively to the team.
  
  

What are you made of?

• Analytical Skills – strong analytical stills are essential of preparing and interpretating data. You should be comfortable working with numbers and have a keen eye for detail
• Interest in reinsurance – a genuine interest in the (re)insurance industry and process will help you engage more deeply with the tasks.
• Technical Proficiency – familiarity with data analysis tools such as excel is essential.
• Team work – being able to work collaboratively with colleagues across different locations
• Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT
