Position Overview

You'll engage in research and ideation exploring low-code platforms, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, and generative AI—all tailored for the manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in research and ideation projects exploring the potential of low-code, cloud, AI, generative AI, and agentic technologies tailored for manufacturing domains
  • Support the development of proof-of-concept solutions combining low-code platforms (Mendix) with generative AI capabilities
  • Document and share reference architectures and innovative approaches to ensure they are well-structured and easily understood
  • Conduct research into competitive landscapes and business opportunities to help us stay ahead of industry trends
  • Analyze internal data from systems like Salesforce and SAP using tools such as Power BI to inform business decisions and validate new growth areas
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the translation of research findings into actionable business insights

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • Strong interest in low-code platforms (Mendix experience is a plus), artificial intelligence, machine learning, and generative AI
  • Eagerness to understand and contribute to the manufacturing industry
  • Analytical mindset with enjoyment of working with data and ideally some experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Python for data analysis)
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
  • Proactive and independent mindset with a desire to learn and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding or curiosity about enterprise software such as PLM, ERP (SAP), CRM (Salesforce), or other Siemens Xcelerator portfolio tools
  • Previous experience with low-code development or AI/machine learning projects
  • Familiarity with business process automation or manufacturing workflows

Compensation & Benefits:

The hourly rate for this position is €17.00 per hour. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
