What You'll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position title: SAP Signavio iXp Intern (f/m/d) – Information Security Compliance and Audits

Location: Berlin, Germany

Internship duration: 6 Months

The Signavio Compliance and Governance Team is looking for a motivated intern (f/m/d) to support our audit efforts. A particular focus will be put on C5:2026 certification uplift. The activities will comprise to become familiar with the existing C5 certification scope, identifying gaps and extending scope to 100+ new C5 controls that are introduced in 2026.

In this role you will frequently become involved in audit control implementation and control adaptation for Signavio cloud applications. These activities are of high importance to keep and attract customers from highly regulated industries.

You will work together with compliance experts from within Signavio, SAP Global Security and Cloud Compliance and Engineers as well as control owners in Signavio Engineering. This internship will introduce you to certification processes at SAP, audits and evidence collection, SAP Compliance Cockpit and regulatory analysis.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who takes the initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Auditing / Accounting, Economics or STEM discipline
  • Previous working experience in positions as working student, intern or fulltime employee
  • Demonstrating expertise and success managing projects or work streams in engineering, development or security / compliance
  • Experience in Audits, analysis of regulatory requirements, control evaluation (experience with C5 is beneficial)
  • Proactive attitude, paired with strong communication skills and motivation to deliver a high impact topic in the course of this internship
  • Fluent spoken and written English communication skills; German language skills are beneficial
  • Proven experience in one programming language / Agentic AI is beneficial
  • Working from the Berlin office is required for multiple days per week. If you are applying from outside the area, please mention your relocation plans or preferences in your CV (Relocation costs are not reimbursed by the manager / employer)
