Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Summer Intern, Legal (1-3 months) to join our Legal Team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

Join the team that protects and enables Delivery Hero’s growth. In the Legal Team, you’ll support the legal function on key initiatives to provide guidance that aligns business goals with regulatory standards. Your work will help mitigate risks and ensure we’re positioned for sustainable, long-term success—making you a key contributor to our mission of delivering amazing experiences worldwide.

In this role you will support our specialized teams in Group Corporate, Capital Markets, and Legal Equity, gaining unparalleled exposure to high-stakes legal operations and the fast-paced world of global delivery. 

If you are a proactive law student eager to see how theory translates into international practice, join our team for a fixed-term position (1-3 months) between June and August and spend your summer with us!  


You will collaborate across our Group Corporate, Capital Markets, and Legal Equity functions to provide comprehensive legal and operational support, including:

  • Support the team in drafting essential legal documentation, including corporate resolutions, basic agreements, and equity plan documents;
  • Conduct in-depth legal research on evolving corporate law trends and capital markets regulations to keep the team ahead of the curve;
  • Assist in maintaining corporate records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards; and
  • Provide general administrative and project-based support to the legal department, helping to streamline internal workflows.

Qualifications

  • You hold, or are currently completing, a university law degree (LL.M. or equivalent is considered an asset).
  • You are fully proficient in English; working proficiency in German is considered an asset.
  • You are a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to handle complex tasks in a legally accurate, pragmatic, and timely manner.
  • You demonstrate excellent self-organization, independence, and a high level of commitment.

Weekly hours

Internships have no 20-hour cap, but a voluntary internship longer than three months generally has to pay at least the German minimum wage. Mandatory internships in your study programme are exempt.

Mandatory internships are largely exempt from social contributions. Voluntary internships are treated like regular employment once they run long enough, so contributions usually apply.
