A day in a life of an Intern in International Key Account Management.
International Collaboration: Close cooperation with the international sales team to drive business development with international discounters across more than 26 markets and 9 product categories.
Sales Story Development: Contribution to the creation of compelling selling stories and sales proposals tailored to international discounters across various markets and categories.
Cross-Market Project Support: Collaboration with local sales teams to execute market- and customer-specific projects effectively.
Analysis & Sub-Projects: Conducting analyses and independently managing sub-projects within the business framework, with a focus on international clients and category management.
Operations & Ownership: Active involvement in daily operations with the opportunity to take ownership of individual projects and responsibilities.
This is how we match:
Studies: Business student with focus on Business or Sales or gap year between Bachelor and Master.
Experience: Min. 6 months of work experience (through previous internships or employment).
Language: Fluency in English is required, knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
Work style & mindset: Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team; strong interest in international business and willingness to learn.
Tools: Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Industry: Work experience in FMCG, Retailers is a plus.
International exposure: Experience studying or working abroad or in a cross-cultural environment.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende
Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Vertrieb in Frankfurt für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.
Wochenstunden
Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.
Werkstudenten-RegelnSozialabgaben
Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
Studieren in Deutschland
