Intern Digitalization (All genders welcome)

Work on real projects and tasks within our Customer Experience department of the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany to work as part of the European CX Solutions team, support the rollout of digitalization solutions in EU region.

>> Starting in October 2026 - Minimum of 6 months (possible prolongation for up to 12 months).

The Requirements

For your internship at Kia Europe you need to be enrolled during the whole internship period in a university within the European Union, preferably Germany. Furthermore, you need a valid visa and an unrestricted permit to work in Germany. We recommend completing a six-month internship with us, as this gives you sufficient time to learn about Kia Europe and familiarize yourself with your topic.

Your Mission

Main Tasks:

  • Assisting with the launch of the new Kia Website during H2 26- H1 27, including supporting with:
  • Coordination of testing phase and defect tracking process
  • Creation and delivery of training program and support marketing assets.
  • Post launch operational support
  • Assisting with the coordination of testers during the preparation and execution of the testing phase.
  • Assisting with the internal, cross-departmental communication within Kia Europe, relating to digitalization projects.
  • Collection of reporting and insight data during testing and after launch, for presentation to Kia Europe management team, to assess the performance of solutions.
  • Supporting the coordination of communications to Global Headquarters, European Markets and regional/market agencies.

Your Talents

  • Enrolled in a degree related to business, digital marketing, or IT.
  • Preferably prior experience in a related field, e.g. project coordination, software development / testing.
  • Interest / experience in the automotive business and in digital projects.
  • Preferably prior experience of working with external partners, e.g. agencies and suppliers.
  • Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills; an additional European language constitutes an advantage.
  • Adaptability, positivity, and resilience in the face of challenges.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Operations in Frankfurt für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Versicherung prüfen

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
