Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Being strong together: You support the electrical, electro-acoustical and optical characterization of silicon MEMS microphones
  • Reliable work: You conduct reliability tests for MEMS microphones
  • Experience research: You will be involved in the development of printed circuit boards (PCB) and the execution of tests for sensor applications
  • Focus on the future: You take care of the optimization of sensor test setups for the characterization and handling of laboratory devices
  • Take responsibility: You document test results
  • Teamwork is dreamwork: You support our technical marketing team in their daily tasks

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • Study field: You are currently studying Microelectronics, Microsystems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar, preferably for a bachelor's degree
  • Experience:You ideally already have practical laboratory experience (e.g. soldering, microscopy, experience in acoustic setup is a plus)
  • Know-how:You already have knowledge of acoustics; experience with MATLAB is a plus
  • Way of working: You have the ability to analyze and solve problems systematically and have great affinity for technical topics
  • Personality: You work proactively and are a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Language skills: You have fluent English skills while German is a plus

Important information:



  • Working part-time: The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
  • Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: You must be enrolled and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 1 year. You must also not be in a semester of leave.
  • You should live close to the site: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
