Beschreibung bereitgestellt von HEY HOLY | B Corp

Our mission at HEY HOLY: Taking dog health to the next level through nutrition. Instead of one-size-fits-all, we focus on breed-specific, functional food – developed with veterinarians and with the goal of enabling every dog to live a long, healthy life.

What began as an idea in 2022 is today a rapidly growing e-Com/DTC subscription model serving over 20,000 dogs. Our team is set to grow to over 40 by the end of 2026 – and our finance infrastructure needs to grow with it. That’s where you come in.

This is your opportunity to get hands-on experience in finance at a fast-growing startup – You won’t just be pushing numbers; you’ll be working directly with the team in our Frankfurt office to build and optimize the financial engine that keeps our business running.

Aufgaben

  • Keep the Engine Running: Take charge of the preparation and execution of invoice approvals and support our regular payment runs.
  • The Bridge to our Partners: Handle preparatory bookkeeping and act as a key contact point for our external tax advisors.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Create monthly reports and dive into ad-hoc analyses that help the team make smart business decisions.
  • Optimize & Automate: We hate repetitive manual work. You will actively look for ways to streamline, automate, and upgrade our financial accounting and reporting processes.

Qualifikation

  • The Foundation: You are currently studying a business-related degree (focus on finance/controlling) or possess a similar analytical background.
  • First Steps: Ideally, you already have some initial hands-on experience in accounting or data management.
  • Spreadsheet Savvy: You love numbers and structures. You are confident in Excel, but you are also highly familiar with Google Sheets and love using collaborative cloud tools.
  • The Process Innovator: You don't just follow steps; you ask "Is there a better way to do this?" You are excited about testing new software and automating tasks wherever possible.
  • A Team Player: Finance doesn't happen in a silo. You are eager to get involved, ask questions, and build strong relationships with the rest of the HEY HOLY team.

Benefits

  • The opportunity to work on topics that genuinely interest you – with maximum ownership and responsibility
  • Short, open, and honest communication. We give feedback and we expect feedback
  • Flexible working hours – from our Frankfurt office
  • Free HEY HOLY food, so not just you but your four-legged friend is happy too
  • Monthly development budget for your personal and professional growth

We value Diversity! 🌈
We embrace diversity in every sense – and select team members regardless of how they look, where they come from, who they love, or what they believe in. We look not only at individual skills, but also at the ability to support the growth of others. Because as a team, we are stronger together! 🫶
Reaching our growth ambitions and enabling more dogs to live better lives is a universal mission – one that requires people with different perspectives, skills, and backgrounds. We firmly believe that diverse teams with complementary strengths are the most powerful ones.
