Working Student (m/f/x) Finance & Consolidation - Munich

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, Munich (www.mutares.com), as a listed private equity holding company, acquires medium-sized companies in special situations, which show significant operational improvement potential and are sold again after undergoing a repositioning and stabilization process. Mutares actively support its portfolio companies with its own investment and operations teams and through strategic add-on acquisitions. The focus is on companies with revenues ranging from EUR 100 million to EUR 750 million, across various industries. The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth of the portfolio company.

Your Tasks

• You support the development of analyses and processes on special finance-related questions, e.g. in the area of risk management and/or investment controlling (variance analyses, etc.), in each case in close contact with the operational units of our portfolio
• You support with financial statement-related tasks (annual, consolidated, and quarterly financial statements) and in particular with the preparation and compilation of the consolidated financial statements (consolidation, IFRS and German GAAP accounting topics)
• You support in the preparation of presentations for the executive board, supervisory board, investors and other stakeholders
  
  

Your Profile

• You are currently completing your Bachelor's / pursuing your Master's in business administration or a comparable course of studies with specialization in accounting, finance, auditing or similar
• You have an advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Excel and Power Point), knowledge of PowerBI would be an advantage
• Previous Internships in auditing (ideally with a Big 4 company), internal auditing or investment controlling are a plus
• You have a deep understanding of business contexts, analytical skills and interest in different business models
• You are business fluent in English (written and spoken), another European language is desirable
