Internship in Product Development for Medical Devices (f/m/d)

Would you like to gain your first professional experience in product development? Then apply and become part of our team for medical devices in the areas of instruments, examination and surgical gloves, as well as surgical drapes and surgical gowns.
The main responsibilities in product development include optimizing and adapting the existing product portfolio to continuously changing requirements. To support our team, we are looking for an intern (m/f/d) for a period of six months.
Responsibilities
- Conducting product testing (material and functional testing, chemical and physical tests)
- Supporting the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Assisting with risk assessments
- Communicating with external laboratory service providers
- Assisting in the qualification of alternative materials
- Supporting day-to-day operational activities and business processes
- We welcome students with a technical or scientific background, preferably in one of the following or related fields: Textile Technology, Biomedical Engineering/Medical Technology, or Materials Science
- Interest in a broad range of tasks and direct collaboration with the product development team
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Flexible working hours – flexitime
- Possibility to work remotely on a daily basis with your own company device

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.
Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
