A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Working Student in the Global Business Function within Siemens Energy’s Generation Solutions business area, you will play an active role in supporting our Building Information Modeling (BIM) initiative.
Your day will combine analytical, creative, and collaborative responsibilities. You will test software solutions using defined procedures, carefully document and evaluate the results, and communicate your findings to our global BIM manager community.
You will also work closely with different business functions to define, optimize, and visualize workflows, helping to ensure transparency, efficiency, and alignment across teams.
A key part of your role will be translating complex technical and business topics into clear, well-structured documentation and management-ready PowerPoint presentations in English. Through your contributions, you will help drive knowledge sharing, support decision-making, and strengthen the implementation of BIM across the organization.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Execution of structured software testing activities based on defined test procedures and methodologies
- Documentation, analysis, and evaluation of test results with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
- Preparation and presentation of findings and recommendations to the global BIM Manager community
- Development of clear and concise technical documentation from complex technical and process-related topics
- Creation of management-ready PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate insights, results, and recommendations
- Cross-functional collaboration on workflow and process definition, alignment, and visualization across multiple business functions
- Enrollment in a degree program in Business Informatics, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex topics in a clear and concise manner; German language skills as an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, including the creation of structured and visually compelling presentations and documents
- Strong analytical thinking and a structured, detail-oriented working approach
- Interest in digital transformation, process optimization, and software-driven solutions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an international and cross-functional business environment
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
