Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the GIT-CSG Financial Management and Assistants team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary, part-time basis (roughly 19 HPW) for 24 months, commencing 01.08.2026 as a Working Student IT Software Licence Management. Ideally, the job familiarization will take place full-time period during the university break.

Our team ensures that our IT costs are managed in a smart, transparent and forward‑looking way. We optimise cloud and IT spend and actively manage our software licences. With us, you’ll experience Financial Operations and Software Licence Management where it makes an impact.

You can look forward to

  • Supporting the monitoring of the licensing situation as well as the management of existing licence agreements
  • Preparing software compliance reports
  • Contributing to software audits
  • Integrating new software products into our software asset management
  • Working in licence management within an international IT environment

You come equipped with

  • Ongoing master´s degree in informatics, business informatics, economics or a comparable field with an IT focus
  • Initial experience in licence or contract management is an advantage
  • Knowledge of IT service or project management
  • Proficient user skills in German and conversational English
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in an international setting

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
