Our department serves as the central interface to Hannover Re’s global group companies and local branches. We support and advise our international units on key topics such as governance, capitalisation and financing. As a working student, you will be a valued member of our international team from day one, taking on tasks as part of daily business operations while gaining exciting insights into the governance, reporting and financial processes of a globally operating reinsurer.
You can look forward to
- Supporting the management and further development of our participation management tools and the associated processes
- Collecting, structuring, validating and maintaining data and information from various sources and systems (e.g. Excel, databases)
- Preparing information in a targeted way to meet different internal and external requirements
- Contributing to the preparation and processing of reports as well as to the fulfilment of statutory and regulatory reporting obligations
- Supporting the assurance of high data quality and transparency across our group companies and participations
- Working closely with various interfaces, in particular with Group Finance, Group Taxation, Group Legal Services and our international business units
- Ongoing advanced studies in economics, business administration, business law, law or a comparable field
- Basic knowledge of (inter)national accounting and/or commercial and corporate law is desirable
- Confident use of MS Office, particularly MS Excel
- Strong interest in working with and managing various databases and IT tools such as AMI
- Proficient user skills in German and English
- Interest in the development and use of AI tools to optimise work processes
- Strong numerical aptitude combined with analytical and logical thinking skills

Versicherung prüfenInternationale Studierende
Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
