About us:

At Finoa, we are driven by a bold mission: to enable institutions and individuals globally to migrate their capital into the onchain economy. And we are actively engineering the platform that makes it possible.
We believe that great products are built by people who are eager to leave their mark on the world. We are seeking ambitious, hard-working individuals who are ready to innovate in a rapidly changing environment. We offer a collaborative space where your impact is visible and your growth is supported.
If you are ready to put in the work to redefine the global financial system, we want to hear from you.

Your mission:

As a People & Culture Intern (m/f/d) at Finoa, you will work closely with the Head of People & Culture to support a wide range of initiatives across People Operations, Office Management, and Culture. This internship offers hands-on experience in fostering a positive employee experience, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and contributing to projects that drive engagement, well-being, and organizational effectiveness. You will gain valuable insights into HR processes, culture-building activities, and workplace management within a dynamic, fast-paced environment—an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about people, culture, and operations.

P.S.: Please note this is an unpaid internship.

In this role, you will:

  • Champion the Employee Journey
Be a key player in everything from onboarding new hires to ensuring smooth offboarding – creating moments that matter at every step of the employee lifecycle.
  • Reimagine Performance Management
Help us explore best-in-class practices from top companies and shape a performance culture that inspires, motivates, and grows our team.
  • Turn Insights into Action
Work on designing and refining employee surveys (onboarding, pulse, exit) that actually drive change. You’ll gather real feedback and help transform it into improvements everyone can feel.
  • Be a Data Detective
Build ad hoc reports and dashboards that uncover trends, drive smarter decisions, and bring transparency to People Operations.
  • Create a Workplace Everyone Loves
Support day-to-day office management and help craft a space where people genuinely enjoy coming to work – organized, efficient, and full of good vibes.
  •  Bring in the Bots
Help us explore and implement cutting-edge AI tools and automation to make our workflows faster, smoother, and smarter.

What you need to be successful:

  • You are curious, proactive, and eager to learn, with a strong interest in innovation, technology, and emerging trends in business and finance.
  • You have a willingness to explore new topics, take initiative, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • You bring solid communication skills and enjoy collaborating with diverse teams across functions.
  • You are organized, detail-oriented, and excited to develop your project management abilities through hands-on experience.
  • You speak English fluently, German is a plus.

What’s in it for you:

  • You’ll work closely with an experienced People team and gain real-world exposure to HR strategy, culture-building, and people analytics.
  • You’ll have the freedom to pitch ideas and see them come to life.
  • You’ll learn how a modern, human-centric organization operates – and help make it even better.
  • You’ll walk away with tangible skills, great connections, and a standout experience on your resume.
  • Flexible working hours, hybrid work setup from both our Berlin and the Porto offices.
  • Fitness membership and internal Crypto Academy.
  • Hot/cold drinks and snacks in the office, and All Hands meetings once a month with pizza.

Diversity & Inclusion:

Finoa is an equal opportunity employer devoted to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We genuinely welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, cultures, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, neurodiversities, and ages.

Data Privacy:
