Your Role

As Finance Intern, you are a member of our Finance & Legal Department, where you support the day-to-day business and independently plan and execute finance-related projects. You will work closely with our CFO and Finance Leadership Team and contribute directly to projects that shape the future of our company, such as raising equity and debt capital or supporting the strategy process by providing superior insights into the business performance.

Your Mission

  • Support our Investor Relations team across both equity and debt financing by preparing compelling investor materials and financial reports.
  • Execute corporate financial planning tasks including validation of key operational drivers, maintenance of our financial model, and preparation of key results for our senior leadership team.
  • Collaborate with our Controlling team on monthly financial reporting, including deep-dive variance analyses.
  • Prepare rolling liquidity forecasts and drive targeted improvement initiatives to optimize our cash position.
  • Work closely with our Finance leadership team on high-priority cross-functional projects with real business impact.
  • Analyze and improve existing processes as we strive to build a world-class Finance organization.


Your Profile

Must-have:

  • You are studying Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a similar .
  • Highly analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Slides .
  • Proactive learning attitude with the ability to remain well-organized and deliver reliable results in a fast-paced environment .
  • Excellent, fluent English skills .


Nice-to-have:

  • Prior foundational experience in Finance gathered within management consulting, Big 4, high-growth startups, or another fast-paced environment .
  • Good communication skills in German.

Wichtiges für Werkstudierende

Was dieses Praktikum im Bereich Finance in Munich für dich bedeutet: die Vergütungsregeln, die Sozialabgaben und worauf internationale Studierende achten sollten.

Wochenstunden

Praktika haben keine 20-Stunden-Grenze, ein freiwilliges Praktikum über drei Monate muss aber in der Regel mindestens den Mindestlohn zahlen. Pflichtpraktika im Studium sind davon ausgenommen.

Werkstudenten-Regeln

Sozialabgaben

Pflichtpraktika sind weitgehend von Sozialabgaben befreit. Freiwillige Praktika gelten ab einer gewissen Dauer als reguläre Beschäftigung, dann fallen meist Beiträge an.

Internationale Studierende

Studierende von außerhalb der EU dürfen 140 volle oder 280 halbe Tage im Jahr arbeiten (seit März 2024, zuvor 120/240). Ein Werkstudentenvertrag passt meist in diesen Rahmen — prüfe die genauen Grenzen auf deinem Aufenthaltstitel.
